Job Scope: Site Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and supervise marine construction projects till completion.
- Oversee and supervise the rock placing in marine construction.
- Oversee the supervise the sand filling in marine construction using marine barge / vessel.
- Coordinate and monitor the reclamation work in the project and at the material supply source.
- Liaise with client, other relevant authorities, consultants, and other external and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of the project.
- Liaise and coordinate with the marine and land survey team.
- Coordinate and supervise the subcontractors and direct construction workers.
- Monitor, review and report the work progress to immediate superior daily.
- Implement and monitor safety matters in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring good QA/QC at the project.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering.
- Min 5 years’ experience in Marine Construction and Civil Engineering works (preferably in reclamation, bund construction or dredging projects).
- Familiarity with hydrographic surveys, marine traffic management, and offshore construction methodologies, and vessel works planning (e.g., anchoring, positioning).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning / management software.
- Fast learning and understanding the process of marine construction.
- Leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to communicate and work with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Positively work with the management and operation team.
- Must be comfortable working on vessels for extended durations.
- Able to rotate between day shift and night shift as required.
