Roles & Responsibilities

Job scope: Senior Hydro Surveyor Data Processor

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hydrographic/topo survey data processing with reclamation/dredging volume calculation during the full phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites are accurate
  • Liaise with the client on matters pertaining to reclamation/dredging volume.
  • Provides technical planning and operation procedures/methods to client
  • Setting up the Computer Systems to be used for Hydrographic Survey & Magnetometer survey
  • Coordinate and planning daily hydrographic/topo survey work
  • Ensure that survey instruments are calibrated according to specifications
  • Co-ordination works with sub-contractor workers to housekeep, protection and storage of equipment, materials, tools and etc.
  • Lead the Reclamation/Engineers
  • Liaise with the Engineer/sub-con on technical issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Preferably with a minimum Diploma in relevant Civil, M&E, or IT Engineering, technology, or equivalent/similar disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in hydrographic/topo survey data processing
  • Team leader and good decision maker
  • Able to work in Tuas
