1. To be responsible to the Director (Client Services) for the administration of Occupational Therapy and other administrative matters entrusted by the Director (Client Services).
2. Defining treatment objectives for each client and implementing treatment programmes. The definition of “clients” in this context, applies to the residents of the Home, Respite cases and Day Care Clients.
3. To attend and partake in discussion of Individual Care Plan (ICP) of clients, case conferences and meetings.
4. To compile and submit periodic reports and statistics to the Director (Client Services).
5. Documenting clients’ progress, reassessing and refining where applicable.
6. To be responsible for the work performance and skill development of the Therapy Aides.
7. To improve and/or develop the Occupational Therapy activities from time to time.
8. To work with the multi-disciplinary team in the assessment of potential clients.
9. To maintain proper records of inventory and coordinate purchase/maintenance/repair of equipment, assistive devices, wheelchairs etc.
10. To collaborate with Executive (Volunteer Programme Management) on volunteers’ orientation, coordination and training for the Occupational Therapy areas as well as various social activities and on-going programmes for the clients at the Home.
11. To collaborate with Executive (Social Services) on various programmes such as craft-making, outings and social recreational activities for the Day Care clients.
12. To perform any other reasonable duties required by the Director (Client Services).
**Qualification**
Should possess a recognized Degree in Occupational Therapy
Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
