Ui/ux Designer

We are currently hiring a passionate, user centered UI/UX Designer to join a collaborative and innovative team to create visually delightful and easy-to-use digital products in a fast-paced eCommerce environment to be based in Singapore.

You will be a key part of the newly formed and growing eCommerce Product & UX Team. Apart from the day to day of working on and delivering design requests, you will be able to set the initial standard for UX Design within Castlery as we are growing the team in the coming months.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces that all lead back to our Brand Image
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Collaborating with the Customer Experience team to ensure local Singapore, Australian and hyperlocal US users’ voices are incorporated into the design process
- Collaborating closely with counterparts in Product Management and Engineering on ideas that will help reach business goals whilst also meeting local user needs and expectations
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

**What you’ll need**
- 3+ years of product user experience with an accompanying portfolio - we are interested in the design solutions, not just design artifacts.
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year experience using Figma, Miro or related platforms.
- Experience in
- design thinking frameworks, as well as translating UX research insights into design experiences that address user pains and delights users.
- designing for eCommerce Web and App customers
- Localization design for US market is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partner teams including in Research, Product, Engineering, and other business stakeholders
- Comfortable dealing with details and a degree of ambiguity

**Salary**: $4,200.00 - $4,900.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
