Offshore Material and Inventory Coordinator

Key tasks and responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of administrative accuracy, and control over the movement of stock in and

out of the stores onboard. Ensure all records are accurate, transparent and up to date in the

Computerized Stock Control System / Maintenance Management System and ensure that they reflect

the actual situation with regards to stock movements
- Monitor all Material and Logistic requirements for the FPSO and ensure that all material and

equipment’s movement to and from the FPSO, by sea or air; are correctly preserved, packaged,

verified, recorded and manifested in close cooperation with the applicable department onboard and

onshore. This also includes return goods whether for onshore storage, scrap or recertification/

calibration.
- Maintain records of rented/hired equipment on the FPSO
- According to procedure, maintain an accurate repository for certificates and other relevant documentation for equipment on board
- Carry out stock audits and issue Stock Audit Reports according to procedure
- Monitor and ensure a high standard of housekeeping in your area of responsibility
- Actively participate in Planning meetings on board to obtain information about upcoming works and activities on board.
- Provide status for materials which are required according to the Maintenance plan in line with the planning procedure.
- Based on the Maintenance plan and stock movement analysis, assess and advice management onboard on optimization of Min/Max levels, spare parts and consumables inventory.
- Monitor and advice management onboard with respect to timely reorder of all defined spare parts, special tools - consumables on-board, in line with the required min /max levels and upcoming

requirements.
- Maintain a matrix relation with onshore Material and Logistic Coordinator and the rest of Supply Chain, in terms of materials and spare parts delivery status, movements and Onshore Warehousing

inventory.
- Ensure hazardous/dangerous materials transportation and storage regulations and procedures are adhered to and documented. Control issuance and storage of health hazardous substances. Ensure

MSDS and online chemical management program (SYPOL) are up to date and are referred to as needed.
- Support all departments with additional required input in PR/PO process, follow up on delivery dates set in the maintenance plan, confirm receipt on-board in IFS and notify the relevant department, including Life Extension and/or upgrade work on the FPSO.
- As required, interact, coordinate, monitor and record supplied spare parts and consumables, required onboard by the Client.
- Support the OIM and Management team in Operating the FPSO within the following:

- Requirement set by the Flag state
- Regulatory Compliance
- BWO HSSEQ requirement
- BWO Purpose and Principles, Philosophies, Policies and Procedures
- Contractual requirement for the scope of work within the boundaries as defined in the contract
- Take personal responsibility for self and colleagues and actively take initiative to continuous improvement. Be vigilant and STOP any unsafe activity
- Take initiative in developing ideas and influencing an improved HSSEQ performance
- Take appropriate action in event of emergency as per the role defined in the Emergency Response Plan
- All other related work as assigned

Authorities:
The holder of this position has the necessary authorities to carry out the responsibilities stated above.

This position’s financial authority will be specified in BW Offshore authorization matrix.

Qualification requirements:

- Degree/Diploma/Technical Certifications in Engineering and/or Materials/Logistic Management
- Long relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education
- According to Training Matrix

**Experience**:

- Ideally 5-7 years relevant experience in onshore and/or offshore Oil & Gas Materials

management, in an extensive maintenance environment
- Ideally proven experience in Computerized Stock Management Systems, Electronic Purchasing and Warehousing
- Very good understanding of inventory receipts/inspections/stowage/custody issues
- Experience in periodic Inventory stock taking of Engineering & Maintenance spares in the Oil & Gas/Marine environment
