**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provides Tier 1 troubleshooting and support by coaching users through their ICT and Audio Visual (AV) software and hardware issues.
- Installs, un-installs, configures and troubleshoots software and hardware on Macs, iOS devices, & PCs.
- Performs basic repairs of ICT hardware where possible.
- Resolves help tickets promptly, documents any relevant incidents.
- Creates teacher and student accounts for our various educational platforms.
- Creates documentation (help sheets and videos) for our help desk knowledge base.
- Promote culture of safe, responsible, and legal use of technology.
- Works proactively to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Helps monitor ongoing systems health.
- Assists the team to troubleshoot and upgrade supporting system as needed.
- Review and analyse help desk data monthly.
- Research and test out new technology.
- Liaise with vendors, and the school’s procurement specialist when needed, for faulty hardware unit repairs and replacements.
- Investigate sources of supply for hardware, software and audio-visual equipment.
- Manages the summer holiday device collection, inventory, updating, and redeployment.
- Assist with e-waste management of school technology hardware for donation or disposal.
- Sets and meets personal goals yearly to maintain and develop technical and digital literacy proficiency/certification.
- Deploys and manages Apple based devices, accounts, and apps with Apple School Manager (ASM) and mobile device management system (MDM) JAMF.
- Oversee all school cybersecurity policies, such as maintains firewall, ensures virus and malware software get installed and update.
- Performs other duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.
- Supports parent requests as needed and any other tasks that are relevant to the role and scope of work.

**Person Specifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT equivalent or related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position or in an international school setting.
- Relevant experience in providing IT Support.
- Knowledge of MacOS and iOS.
- Experience in Google Workspace Applications preferred.
- Mobile device management experience would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Keeps abreast of industry news and trends.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Flexible problem solver open to new technologies who can work independently, as part of a team, and under time constraints in a dynamic environment.
- Positive and growth mindset with excellent customer service skills.
