Apac Delivery Ops Leader, Data Center Delivery

BA/BS degree or equivalent with specialization in engineering, finance, business, technology, or related fields
- 10+ years of delivery experience (program, project, or product) in technology companies or consulting services
- 5+ years people management experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage senior relationships; ability to influence widely without authority
- Experience defining delivery requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal); excellent at communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ability to develop executive-level messaging, reports and presentations

Job summary

In your role as the leader of the Delivery Operations team, you will form part of the DC Delivery leadership team, reporting to the Director of DC Delivery. You will also support business operations activities across the broader DC Planning and Delivery organization.

You will lead a team of program managers and business analysts and be responsible for managing key weekly, monthly, and quarterly mechanisms such as business reviews, goals, capital asset expenditure requests, and resource planning. You will be a key driver of the organization’s twice annual operating plan cycles and hold cross-functional teams accountable to their inputs and commitments. You will own driving key programs such as service and network position readiness and various delivery milestones, including identifying and driving defect reduction, process standardization, and automation. You will drive identification and development of automation, business process improvement initiatives, and metrics, that enable the organization to scale and gain operating leverage while we continue to expand the number of regions and Availability Zones in APAC. You will also be responsible for documentation and curation of a knowledge base and content repository for the broader APAC team. As the team leader, you will drive operational excellence through project management best practices, user adoption, and project controls, across the APAC organization. You will ensure timely input from cross-functional teams and ensure metrics are accurately recorded and reported while identifying and delivering ongoing business process improvement projects.

Key job responsibilities

Program Management
- Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
- Drive, in collaboration with the leadership team, the business’ operating plan narrative and the development of the business plan
- Lead strategic planning initiatives and business reviews which involves planning, organizing, and coordinating with business leaders on crafting agenda, consolidating content, facilitating meetings, and following up on actions items.
- Support budget and headcount management for the organization
- Program manage and support activities required to gain capital expenditure approval for data center infrastructure
- Support and facilitate the development of strategic vision and plans (i.e., managing Goals and KPIs)
- Manage agendas/topics for staff meetings, strategic off-sites, and other important reviews
- Develop and execute mechanisms that support talent management (i.e., knowledge sharing, education, onboarding, resource planning, and recognition)
- Identify opportunities to invent and simplify, identify business risks and implement resolutions and scalable mechanisms
- Communicate ideas concisely to various stakeholders for purposes ranging from informative to need for approvals from executives
- Work with parallel Delivery Operations teams in EMEA, AMER, and GOV regions to collaborate and facilitate implementation of critical initiatives and standard mechanisms globally
- Prepare updates and business reviews with executive leaders

Analytics
- Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards that support the needs of the business
- Measure, evaluate and report on the performance of programs and projects within APAC regions
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Continuously assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our mechanisms and business processes, conduct retrospectives, and look for ways to refine and improve teams’ effectiveness
- Clearly define data requirements and metrics, working with teams to implement the entire data flow from capture to presentation and management
- Build data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers
- Conduct scenario and root-cause analysis to make data-driven recommendations that inform data center capacity supply decisions
- Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance and ad hoc analyses to support future improvements or innovations. T
