Overview:
SGInnovate is looking for an **Assistant Director/ Senior Manager / Manager** to join our Partnerships team, as we build and scale Singapore’s Deep Tech ecosystem holistically. You will play an important role in developing the Deep Tech community in Singapore and beyond, engaging with startups and talent, corporates and investors, government, and international partners, and nurturing strong industry and partner networks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build and drive strategy to engage the Deep Tech ecosystem through leading the development of communities of practice around key emerging/deep technologies.
- Cultivate and manage community, industry and international engagements and partnerships.
- Identify and engage with senior industry leaders to explore corporate innovation projects and catalyse corporate startup collaboration.
- Plan and execute community events (e.g. keynote talks, panel discussions, roundtables, pitches, networking events).
- Able to support the department head in contributing positively to the overall strategic direction of the partnerships team.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in industry engagement or business development.
- Knowledge and networks in Smart Nation and Digital Economy or Manufacturing, Trade and Connectivity sectors.
- Experience in stakeholder management and partnership development.
- Ability to design, plan and manage new programmes that contribute to SGInnovate’s objectives.
- Independent strategic thinker, strong leadership, communications, organisational, writing, and presentation skills.
