The BI Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing business intelligence solutions, including data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, report and dashboard development, and data warehousing.

**Responsibilities**:

- **_Design and implement efficient ETL workflows _**to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
- **_Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy _**in the pipeline.
- **_Develop and maintain data models _**that provide insights into business operations, ensuring scalability and performance.
- **_Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools _**such as Tableau, Power BI.
- **_Monitor and tunes BI tools _**to ensure optimum level of performance.
- **_Optimize queries and database performance _**to ensure fast access to large datasets.
- **_Automate recurring reports and analysis _**to minimize manual work while ensuring timely delivery of insights.
- **_Develop self-service BI solutions _**that allow end-users to access the data they need independently.
- **_Implement and maintain processes for data governance _**, ensuring that data is secure, compliant, and accurate.
- **_Perform data validation and quality checks regularly _**to ensure the integrity of business reports.
- **_Support upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting _**for business intelligence tools.
- **_Work with team leaders to understand user requirement needs and develop BI solutions _**tailored to those requirements.
- **_Modify existing reports, extracts, dashboards _**when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information System, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- **_Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management _**(e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- **_Experience with BI tools _**(e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- **_Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration _**(e.g., Apache Nifi, etc.).
- **_Familiarity with programming languages _**(e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with a team.
- **_Experience of cloud platforms _**(e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) **_and big data technologies _**(e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.
- **_Experience of report tools _**such as Elixir report is an added advantage.

Working Location : West/sometimes may be at customer sites
