The position, Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) is to provide technical leadership, training and mentoring and product expertise to Aruba Sales and Technical team in South East Asia Taiwan and Hong Kong region. You will work in partnership with Aruba EdgeConnect regional sales teams, which includes systems engineers, channel managers and territory sales managers to develop and accelerate EdgeConnect and SD-Branch business. Must be accountable for revenue targets by providing support on opportunities directly with partners and sales teams. Oversee enablement programs to ensure partners are technically trained and capable of identifying and supporting opportunities. Act as a trusted advisor for all things Aruba with a specific focus on Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN. Travel will be +50% primarily focused on supporting HQ and field offices.

**Must have**:

- Technical skills on Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) domain
- Hands-on experience in SDWAN solutions like SilverPeak, Cisco Viptela, Cloudgenix, Versa or similar product line
- Technical certifications like SPSP, SPSX or similar SDWAN certifications
- As CSE will support field enablement activities for Aruba’s EdgeConnect and SD-Branch products and solutions, including aspects of design, deployment and troubleshooting these solutions. The CSE will also be the technical expert or have familiarity with other components of the Aruba solution portfolio such as network management, switching, WLAN, Cloud and Data Centre.
- Drive the inclusion of various bleeding-edge demos in the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) experience. Actively engage in various Aruba events like sales kick-offs, Aruba Atmosphere, TSS etc. to conduct live demos as well presentation/training sessions for partners and customers
Review and development of white papers, technical briefs, and implementation documents for publication on the web and printed media. Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, and other speaking events and industry shows. Also participate in customer site visits, especially those involving product/feature demonstrations.
- Develop and deliver complex technical presentations to various-size sales teams, C-level executives, customer audiences and industry forums
- Provide enablement training, pre-sales support, and installation preparedness training for Aruba Local teams in the SEATH region.
- Work in conjunction with the rest of the Aruba regional and global teams to contribute and develop content for existing and new webinars and workshops.
- Work other Aruba local teams to increase their win rate, increase revenue, and increased technical certifications.
- Deliver technical trainings, pre-sales presentations and demonstrations to partners and customers to deepen their knowledge in the product and keep them updated on the latest features
- Manage and own all technical aspects of the technical sales cycle when supporting partners in their own opportunities
- You will provide prompt feedback to and be ready to aid product management and engineering on future direction of the product.
- You will travel to trade shows, marketing events.
- You will participate in discussion with marketing and engineering teams on new product introduction and provide feedback
**Education and Experiences**:

- First level university degree with a focus in computer science or equivalent degree
- Atleast 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales Systems/Sales Engineer
- You have formal network training and certifications that are required specifically in areas of routing (CCNP, CCIE, JNCP, JNCIE) or extensive experience designing and supporting complex enterprise networks
- Well recognized industry certifications such as ACMX/ACCX/ACSX/ACDX
**About you**:

- You are an expert in enterprise routing on both the LAN and WAN, specifically with protocols such as BGP and OSPF. You have working knowledge of how these protocols operate, and how they are configured in enterprise networks. You will need to provide expertise throughout the sales and deployment cycle working with CCIE level routing problems
- You have network design experience that allows you to understand how the entire LAN and WAN architecture is setup and deployed. You will need to have a deep understanding of how packets move through a network, and the design decisions that come along with that
- You have a solid understanding of ‘legacy’ networks and how to interoperate with them through the transition to SD-WAN
- You are able
