Seagate is a storage manufacturing company that relies on SAP systems to streamline its supply chain and business operations. The Inventory Management team is essential in managing the Total Inventory value and ensuring the company meets its strategic and operational targets. We play a crucial role in long-term planning and oversee the coordination of Sales and Operations strategies to ensure a successful quarter and beyond.

We are seeking a motivated intern to assist in developing & refining our web-based Tableau for daily Core Inventory data analysis and optimization.

**About the role - you will**:
As an Inventory Analytics Intern in our inventory management team have the unique opportunity to delve into the world of supply chain management and planning within a dynamic corporate setting. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance our inventory management processes, offering your analytical skills and fresh insights while gaining hands-on experience in using Tableau and SAP.
- Further develop and enhance data mining accuracy (i.e. commodity inventory by products and locations of a given time snapshot) to improve big data analysis and drive/support inventory optimization tasks.
- Work closely with the Corporate Inventory & Supply/Demand Ops team to create compelling content and graphical summary on the website.
- Troubleshoot any website & data accuracy issues and recommend/implement solutions to improve functionality & summary accuracy.
- Provide weekly updates/demo on project status.

**Your experience includes**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- Motivated individual & passionate about web development (especially Tableau, SAP, HTML or similar) and inventory management for high volume manufacturing.
- Demonstrates ability to use Advanced Excel skills to analyze inventory data and optimize stock levels.
- Skilled in handling large data sets and analyzing efficiently

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
