**Communications Director, Instagram APAC Responsibilities**:

- Deliver innovative communications campaigns that reach key audience groups including creators, teens, brands and opinion leaders in the industry.
- Engage and educate teens, creators across non-traditional channels for impactful storytelling.
- Prepare narratives, briefing materials and manage spokespeople.
- Work closely with cross functional partners and external PR agency partners to ensure effective collaboration and drive key strategic outcomes for the brand in the region.
- Work collaboratively within the Meta org and with the other apps in the Meta family to best represent Instagram.
- Oversee and manage a regional budget and talent resources.
- Represent Meta at a leadership level both internally and externally, communicating Meta’s position on key issues.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience in communications or public relations, at a leadership level, agency and/or in-house
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, in English
- Experience in managing PR agencies and contractors across the region
- Experience collaborating and influencing strategically across diverse cross-functional partners in an international environment
- Experience leading high-performing, geographically distributed teams characterized by a culture of inclusion and a growth mindset within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience working in the media, technology or advertising industries or other fast paced consumer focused brands

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Fluency in another regional language a plus as this role will work with stakeholders based in a diverse region
