Job Responsibilities:
This is a role for an individual to develop and execute thoughtful partnerships and licensing strategy that creates meaningful connection with the intended audience and value for the brands. This role will work at the forefront of gaming, culture, and product where they converge.
Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with partners, strategic planning and execution of brand partnerships, product development and design, analysing commercial viability as well as the implementation of the product marketing campaign.
- Achieving Revenue Target and _
- Budget Management_
- Drive towards achieving the financial targets in line with the company’s business objectives
- Analyze financial information (e.g., royalty reports, revenues, etc.) to ensure all business initiatives and marketing campaigns meet expectations and to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Drive sales initiatives globally that generate incremental revenue streams and/or enhance brand reputation through identification of and outreach to potential partners
- Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going business performance against strategic objectives, coordinate the process of quarterly business review
- Work with Associate Director, Business Development to set budget targets and goals/KPI
- Strategic Planning_
- Develop strategy with the Lifestyle Associate Director based on executive vision for business unit and specified sales targets
- Provide research and analytical support to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions for strategic priorities or critical business issues that arise
- Work independently to design and lead research projects related to market trends, consumer profiles, and competitive intelligence
- Identify key insights and learnings across consumer habits: product and marketplace to fully engage and penetrate the market based on deeply seated knowledge on the consumer mindset
- Support projects of strategic importance to Razer’s growth and profitability, by working with cross-functional teams and sometimes external vendors/agencies
- Team Management_
- Manage and oversee the work of the team members under the Licensing and Partnerships team including assigning tasks to individual team members, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts etc.
- Motivate and lead the team towards achieving the business objectives set by the company
- Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution_
- Translate company’s brand imperatives into actionable campaign strategies and plans. This includes coordinating with the internal business and marketing teams regionally and globally to action on the marketing strategies and plans
- Lead and manage marketing asset production that the aim of creating content that will resonate and engage with our target audience through working closely with internal and external stakeholder teams. This includes the production of content creative briefs for social media platforms, digital content, PR etc.
- Use data analytics, trend analysis, customer metrics and local market intelligence to identify and propose suitable regional/designer/influencer/talent partnerships - either traditional brand endorsement supported by above and below the line promotional activity, social media, Public Relations, and/or licensed/collab product supported and driven by talent/influencer partnerships
- Deal Flow & Contract Management_
- Prepare and submit initial deal terms to the Business Development team who will communicate to potential partners for review/approval
- Project Management_
- Manage relationships with partners and work closely with internal teams to development and design product
- Work alongside design, program management, sales, and marketing teams to maximize initiatives and activations
- Develop presentation framework that will communicate Razer’s vision and strategic initiatives to external business partners
- Lead and engage in business communications and execution of go-to-market strategy with partners
Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing with minimum 6-8 years of sales and product marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
- Experience with consumer products/ electronics would be ideal
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to arrive at insights from analytical data, as it is essential for market and competitive evaluation, pricing and line management
