The role is designed to lead Innovation commercialization of Global innovation projects being led out of the APAC innovation hub. The position leverages commercial acumen, project management and analytical thinking along with an ability to influence matrix teams to lead commercialization of innovation projects in the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate and shape commercial execution of global innovation projects in different markets across APAC. Lead commercialization of projects from concepts to in-market execution, working with design markets / opcos globally.
- Coordinates with regional, local sales trade marketing teams to build shopper strategy, channel strategy, bottoms up distribution plan, Route to market and launch plan with local markets and regional sales teams.
- Leads project management of Innovation process and funnel management for the global/region working with OPCOs and global innovation team.
- Validates opportunities with market sizing & opportunity: Lead Market trend analysis business performance, competitive analysis, ability to identify need gaps in category and growth opportunities working along with Strategy and portfolio teams
- Identify scale up opportunities; maintain a strong relationship with markets to build buy in of innovation projects. Be the main connection of Innovation hub to markets; Collaborate with regional team to help identify scale up opportunities; maintain a strong relationship with markets to build buy in of innovation projects
- Intuition for business: Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned platform and markets, through design, development, and implementation, to ensure market successful product launches
- Execution of projects from project scoping Define to Post Launch to maximize value, IR %, Margin improvement and other commercial priorities, to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within approved funding and achieves the final project objectives
- Lead risk analysis & mitigation planning for projects working along with markets
- Identify, monitor, communicate and resolve issues, scope changes, budget variances

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial roles including trade marketing, shopper marketing, channel strategy etc. Ideally a mix of commercial roles in sales, marketing and other commercial functions.
- Strong experience in FMCG or allied industries preferably in regional and local country roles
- Ability to understand market requirements and build common solutions through collaborative approach.
- Superior project management skills to ensure that actions are completed, and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ability to lead, motivate, influence, and supervise cross-functional teams and lead project management for all innovation projects.
- Established data analytics and problem-solving skills using innovative processes and technologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
- Multi market experience would be preferred.
