**About The Team**:
The mission of the TikTok Eng-AI Innovation Center is to explore cutting-edge AGI technologies, including but not limited to LLM, multi-modal LLM (video/image/audio/text/code), etc., to let machine better understand user creations on Tiktok platform. Regarding to video/image/audio/text, enhanced content understanding can bring better user experience of searching, recommendation, and can more accurately identify and defend internet abuse and fraud on our platform. Regarding to code, our developed LLM aims to automatically re-organize/optimize Tiktok codebase, and make the code/coding become more accessible for Tiktok engineers.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

**Responsibilities**:
2. Participate in the research of cutting-edge technologies such as large language models and multimodal large models, and accumulate experience in solving practical problems with cutting-edge technologies

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- PhD students with majors in artificial intelligence, computer science, automation, and mathematics or related fields
- Able to commit to working as a full-time intern for at least 3 months
- Solid programming skills and experiences in using LLM training and inferencing libraries/platforms, like HuggingFace Transformers, DeepSpeed, etc, and proficient in deep learning frameworks such as pytorch.
- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, good communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Have RLHF algorithm implementation hands-on experiences, familiar with main RLHF algorithms like PPO, DPO, SimPO, KTO, etc.
- Have experiences on publishing papers in top academic conferences and have won excellent results in competitions in the field of multimodal, computer vision or machine learning.
