Our client is an autonomous vehicle solutions startup looking for a highly motivated individual with outstanding autonomous system background as **VP of Engineering** to lead the Engineering department in areas of perception, navigation, localisation and Human Machine Interface to ensure that their autonomous vehicle platform remains at the forefront for state of the art technologies.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee the entire engineering implementation relating to autonomous solutions and related technologies.
- Drive Engineering strategies, formulate policies and integrate initiatives and programs for autonomous solutions.
- Partner with other leadership to drive organizational change, lead initiatives, and scale the team to meet business objectives.
- Lead the development of objectives for entire software & hardware stacks.
- Set technical milestones and objectives
- Provide leadership and motivate a team of engineers and researchers to hit technically challenging deliverables.
- Exhibit strong leadership, decisive thinking, and collaboration with other leadership and executive teams.- Manage the competency and resources of the Engineering department according to targets set by the company in terms of staffing and infrastructure requirements
- To work with managers and members of other departments as required to ensure the smooth transfer of new products into production and into the marketplace

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotic engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the AV space with at least 4 years in a senior level or managerial role
- Prior experience in strategy formulation, technology fore-sighting/road mapping, technology translation, and/or good working knowledge of the AV landscape in Singapore
- Proven knowledge and capability in the areas such as autonomous robotics, navigation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sensing, communication, and cloud technologies- Possess professionalism and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, especially with stakeholders in IHLs and other government agencies- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
