We are looking to hire a Compensation Benefits Analyst for APAC region located in Singapore.
You will work with a small team of HR professionals reporting to HR Director, APAC.
**Main Responsibilities/tasks**:
- Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals
- Provide support for the end-to-end delivery of the annual compensation review, partnering with the People team and other stakeholders to ensure activities are completed accurately and within the required timeframes.
- Coordinate the compensation benchmarking survey participation and analysis across the APAC region.
- Analysing positions, job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications to ascertain the scope of employees’ responsibilities and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners on the management of benefits and wellness programs and projects across the APAC region.
- Support and management of total rewards projects, in partnership with internal specialist teams, including the strengthening and enhancement of compensation governance and frameworks.
- Help develop and enhance the provision of total rewards reporting, analytics and insight, through the provision of high quality and accurate management information. Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation policies, human resource procedures, and collective agreements.
- Assist in the delivery and ongoing development of the Global Job Architecture and other global projects.
- Support the continuous improvement, including harmonisation and optimisation, of total rewards policies, programmes, processes and practices.
- Partner with insurance brokers and investment planners to create competitive, cost-effective benefits packages for the organization; facilitates implementation and enrolment for insurance and retirement plans.
- Analyze & provide tracking on actuals on the APAC HR budget and forecast
- Collaborate effectively with regional colleagues on policies, processes and practices to help ensure operational excellence. Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organisational objectives
- Monitor market trends and benchmarks to ensure competitiveness across the total rewards portfolio.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, etc). Differentiate pay systems to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value
- Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations.
- Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits. Analysing results of compensation survey.
- Plans and communicates preferred methods and best practices for hiring, training, compensating, and evaluating employees.
- Manage the mobility policy for expatriates, including advising & working closely with local/global mobility representatives
- Conduct focus groups to collect employee feedback on specific issues or topics related to benefits and compensation.
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
