Special Transition & Engagement Programme (STEP) aims to outreach, plan and coordinate/implement engagement activities for young adults with disabilities, to provide opportunities to remain socially engaged and retain independent living skills after graduating from SPED schools.

The Programme Executive plays a key role in the design and implementation of STEP activities, and ensures that the programme complies with the funding requirements.

**Effective Programme Implementation & Administration**
- Plan and deliver diverse activities, providing positive experiences and interactions for clients
- Support Programme Lead/Manager with management of programme risk, quality and compliance
- Demonstrate full awareness of work health and safety issues and procedures, including being familiar with emergency procedures and being ready to implement them if necessary

**Operational Efficiency and Resource Management**
- Implement operational strategies to ensure efficient delivery of services
- Support Programme Lead/Manager with coordination of the planning and deployment of resources in support of the programme and operations
- Monitor programme expenses to ensure operations are within allocated budgets

**Reporting and Communications**
- Preparing statistics and provide relevant reports as requested
- Analyse the collated data and propose recommendations when required
- Ensure timely submissions of reports to Funders, i.e. SGE

**Job Holder Requirements**
- Degree/Diploma holder within related field
- Minimum 3 years of related working experience, preferably in a similar setting.
- At least 2 years experience working with individual with disabilities
- Prior experience in project/event coordination or management will be an asset
