Reporting directly to the Head Chef
- Assist Head Chef in planning food requirements and food/labour costs
- Assist Head Chef on the quality control of the pastries
- Assist Head Chef on the pastry creation
- Ensuring adequacy of supplies at the pastry station
- Provide the staff training when new products are launched
- Assist to plan food preparation/food production
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standard: well-maintained personal hygiene, food and kitchen
- Ensure effective communications and collaboration is maintained between the different entities
- To ensure information are delivered in an effective and concise manner that staff of the company comprehends
- Assist in the modification and improvement of pastry product to ensure it is relevant to the current needs of the target customer
- Provide solution to improve and elevate the effectiveness of processes and systems present in the pastry team
- Execute any other duties assigned by superior
- Guide and motivate the team to work more efficiently
