About the role

The Finance team in Singapore is responsible for accounting, regulatory reporting, budgeting, management reporting, accounts payable and tax activities for Sygnum Pte Ltd. The Head of Finance will be responsible for all activities. The role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

About You

We are looking for a hands-on experienced Head of Finance to join our growing, high impact team in our office in Singapore.

What we offer
- Contribute to the financial steering of Sygnum’s Singapore businesses through planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Responsible for the Company’s Payment system and connected matters, and ensure its compliance with the Singapore’s Payment Services Act
- Track company’s performance against financial plans and provide financial transparency to management and business stakeholders
- Develop quality reports for the submission to Executive Board, Board of Directors and regulators
- Prepare overall management reporting of the Singapore business
- Responsible for generating financial analytics and provide supporting commentary
- Foster automation & deployment of an efficient finance set-up
- Contact person for external auditors as well as tax authorities
- Prepare all relevant tax returns related to the business activities

What you offer
- At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a bank. Any prior experience in a digital asset environment will be an advantage.
- CFA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- You are passionate about finance and understand the importance of supporting functions in driving business results
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills as well as a high level of flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of integrity and openness to feedback.
- Positive, forward-thinking personality with a can-do and hands-on attitude.
- Great team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive the team forward.
- Some knowledge and experience related to digital assets would be beneficial.
