The Ambassador (Rewards) is a key member of the government's team responsible for promoting the Rewards Program to the public. The Ambassador (Rewards) is responsible for engaging with the public to educate them about the Rewards Program features, benefits, and incentives. The role will involve building relationships with communities, public organizations, merchants and other stakeholders in order to increase awareness of the program and encourage greater participation amongst eligible citizens.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote the Rewards Program to citizens, potential participants and stakeholders through presentations, public speaking engagements, and events.
- Engage and build relationships with members of the public, local organizations, and other stakeholders to achieve the awareness and education goals of the Rewards Program.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to identify and develop strategies to improve outreach and engagement efforts.
- Identify opportunities to maximize program uptake with stakeholders and other community members.
- Ensure that all program-related inquiries and concerns from the public are responded to in a timely and professional manner. Communicate and report regularly to management on progress and outcomes of outreach and engagement activities.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Experience in a government or public setting is advantageous.
- Proven track record of successful engagement with the public or stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability and experience to present information to different audiences & prospect merchants from all walks of life.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of government programs and initiatives. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.
