As the Asia Area Epidemiology Lead for Vaccines and Immune Therapies, you will:

- Lead the development and execution of robust & holistic regional/local evidence generation plans across the Asia Area markets in alignment with global evidence plans, Area business and medical priorities
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders including the local markets, Asia Area region, the International and Global evidence generation teams to design, assess and optimise internal and external evidence generation proposals
- Embed innovative ways of vaccine evaluation, through engagement with leading scientific societies, key government agencies across the Area to ensure the full value of COVID vaccines and immunotherapeutics are captured
- Work in collaboration with local and Area medical, government affairs, and communication functions to ensure timely communication of real world evidence to the local authorities, advisory committees, and key external experts.
- Provide scientific insights and advice of epidemiology and evidence generation-related questions of local/Area teams, and design and provide customized technical trainings to the local/Area cross-functional teams for capability building in medical affairs
- Lead the introduction of new real world evidence capabilities and innovative study designs to the Area and advance access to high quality observational databases in the Area through external engagement and collaborative approaches via public and private partnerships. Represent AstraZeneca at key leading scientific societies, build and maintain strong network with key epidemiology and health economics experts, health technology assessment agencies, and regulatory agencies
- Drive patient centricity and innovation through all aspects of COVID-19 products’ data generation and communication
- Appropriately manage governance interactions and alignment across senior and Area leadership, cross-functional teams, and other key stakeholders to provide well-coordinated input into critical business decisions
