The Account Executive team is a critical component to our revenue growth at Meltwater and to transform how businesses should make their decisions using media intelligence.

**About the Account Executive**
The AE Lead role is a Player coach role with dual hatted responsibilities. As an AE, you will have an individual quota and as a lead have the responsibility to performance manage a team of AEs under you. In this role, you help customers understand the value and power of our media intelligence solution and develop new and lasting relationships in a variety of accounts within the mid market segments in the South East Asia (SEA) Region.
You will be essential in helping us set, drive, and execute on our revenue goals within the region along with managing and mentoring a very capable team of AEs.
**What you will be doing**
- Ownership of the full sales cycle post lead generation to close deal within the mid-market segment across all industries
- Lead, mentor and coach a high-performing team of Account Executives
- Have a strong focus on coaching Account Executives in your team
- Together with your team, you continuously achieve set goals on a monthly and quarterly basis, including a quarterly accelerator if the team goals are exceeded
- Foster new relationships for Meltwater through proactive outreach via events, meetings etc
- Navigate key decision makers to build Meltwater awareness within organizations
- Articulate Meltwater’s value proposition to decision makers, assess their buying interest, pitch relevant solutions either through online demonstrations or in person meetings, negotiate the pricing and T&C and close the deal
- Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
- Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
- Inspire and educate customers on Meltwater products/services & evangelize key wins within your assigned territory
**Who you are**
- A results-driven self-starter
- Team management experience for 2 years
- 6-8 years of experience in a mid-market/enterprise sales development with quota carrying experience (eg. Renewals, Sales, Account Management) in a rapidly growing organization is highly preferred
- Good understanding of the SEA market, mid-market business organizations and their buying cycles
- Demonstrate knowledge of leading the sales process of a medium to larger commercial accounts, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short/mid/long term opportunity management is preferred
- A passion for business development, technology, consultative solution selling and disrupting how companies use External Data (Social, Media, and Online)
- Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
- Experience in the “C” suite, strong executive presence and polish, and excellent listening skills
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and values accountability
- Extreme curiosity to learn about the product, the industry, and your customer’s businesses
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
