**What the role is**

As the sector champion for the hotel industry, you will work closely with government agencies, industry associations, hotel owners and operators to drive the development of a resilient, competitive, innovative and sustainable hotel industry underpinned by a strong Singapore core.
You will work as part of a team to build a vibrant industry which attracts innovative hotel concepts / experiences; provides high-value offerings to visitors; is growth-oriented and manpower-lean; demonstrates strong business performance in occupancy, revenue and yield; and supports good jobs and wages for Singaporeans.

**What you will be working on**
- Tech lead for the Hospitality Division, including driving strategies and capability development to scale industry's adoption and integration of tech solutions that (i) drive productivity savings; (ii) improve visitor satisfaction; and (iii) enable hotels to capture new demand (e.g. wellness & sustainability tech).
- BIF lead for the Hospitality Division, including working with SPIP and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) to enhance and accelerate funding for tech solutions amidst COVID-19.
- Work with TTG and MHA/ICA to drive project management and industry adoption of STB's E-Visitor Authentication (EVA) system, which automates checks on overseas visitors' stay validity in Singapore.
- Oversee an appointed consultant/partner in the development of an annual intercity benchmarking study to benchmark Singapore's tech adoption and productivity levels against key tourism destinations.
- End-to-end account management of key hotel accounts, including administering manpower, grant and regulatory assistance to support key hotel stakeholders amidst COVID-19 and drive their longer-term business transformation
