**What will you do?**

Smart Building Solutions (SBS) is a Regional Solution and Service business unit, part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. We seek an experienced System Engineer in Enterprise Security Systems and with digital knowledge to strengthen our execution in ASEAN. You will ensure high-quality engineering and commissioning until the finish line. You will be part of the ASEAN Countries’ project execution growth in collaboration with country management and peers, regional SBS teams of Engineering and Execution, among others, for engineering and delivering Security systems and digital solutions to the market.

The position will be in Singapore, with expected traveling within ASEAN countries.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, program and commission enterprise security system for commercial. industrial facilities, healthcare
- infrastructures, laboratories and pharmaceutical plants.
- Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and trends and make recommendations for
- to security systems
- Perform all site commissioning or troubleshooting activities as required
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to designs and deploy mainly Security systems

network architecture to support operator workstations, Servers, third-party integration devices

connected through open protocols such as Modbus, OPC, BACnet, etc.
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solve on installation or interfacing on site
- Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risk
- Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the Project Manager and system specialist for
- commissioning and validation
- Oversee the creation of system graphics, CAD and other related submittals
- Document all security systems configurations and procedures

**What will you need to succeed?**

**Required Education, Knowledge/Skills, and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred,
- although an Associate’s Degree/Certification in the technical field and equivalent experience
- will also be considered.
- 3-5 years of engineering experience preferred in Security systems in Industrial, Commercial,
- Data Centers, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations required
- Proficiency in Modbus, BACnet, OPC, API, SDK, IT Networking and Public Address Systems is important
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Proficiency and Certification in AutoCAD preferred
