Singapore NCS National Council of Social Service Full time

[What the role is]
Provide strategic legal, regulatory and operational policy recommendations to Board of NCSS, CEO’s Office NCSS and Senior Management Team NCSS, to protect and safeguard the interests of NCSS and to uphold the credibility and reputation of NCSS.

[What you will be working on]
- Advice the Board of NCSS and CEO’s Office on legal implications of initiatives and programmes of NCSS and recommend mitigation measures.
- Lead in the review and implementation of legislative planning and amendments of NCSS’ Act and other related regulations.
- Lead in the advice on the roles and responsibilities of sector administration of the social service sector by NCSS.
- Lead in providing advice on contractual matters for NCSS to enter into collaborations and partnerships with government agencies and government linked companies, social service agencies including but not limited to social enterprises, non-profit organisations, institutions of public character, corporate organisations and employees of NCSS.
- Lead in the management of stakeholder relationships with AGC, MSF and other relevant government agencies as well as private legal service providers.
