They are setting up their new International Headquarters in Singapore, hence are looking for a Legal Manager/Director. Job Description This role reports to the General Manager and General Counsel. You will provide strategic legal advice to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead a team of 1 legal counsel, and engage with external counsel on complex matters. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, teaming, reseller, lease, service, and license contracts, both domestically and internationally. Proactively advising on contractual claims and disputes. Contributing to special projects such as investments, mergers & acquisitions, and the establishment of new overseas business units. Conducting ad-hoc legal training. Reviewing and drafting tender contractual documents. The Successful Applicant A Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree from a recognized university. Admission to the Singapore bar. A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in cross-border corporate and commercial law. Preferred experience in IP/technology and/or project-based work. Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead a team. Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
