Singapore DSTA - Defence Science & Technology Agency Full time

**OVERVIEW**:

- As Senior Assistant Director (DSTA Ops Centre), you will provide strategic planning and co-ordination at the organisational level in response to emerging or occurring events affecting the reputation, business operations and interests of the organization. You will plan and manage emergency activities, including SOP reviews and peacetime exercises in support of the SAF.

Specifically, you will:

- Formulate and establish emergency support plans, work processes and linkages internally and externally
- Plan and co-ordinate with the SAF in exercise planning, formulating exercise support concepts, and ensuring the effective operations in exercise execution and post exercise review
- Review and update incident management frameworks and processes in alignment with Business Continuity plans
- Manage operations of the Ops Centre in response to emergency or crises and ensure timely incident reporting
- Analyse current events of significance and provide advice on risk management

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in managing operations, project management or systems management
- Good understanding of the SAF/MINDEF operating processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of Business Continuity Management framework. Prior work experience in similar capacity is preferred
- Good analytical capability, interpersonal and writing skills
- Able to interact effectively with higher management and SAF/MINDEF personnel
