**Summary**

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate payment for all employees. Ensue that all records and documents related to any payroll activity are maintained in compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all payroll related functions for a headcount of approximately 180
- Process and/or issue employee paychecks and payslips of earnings and deductions.
- Compute employee wages and deductions in the system.
- Back up transaction files and transmit to payroll system according to company procedures.
- Review, verify, and reconcile hours worked, pay adjustments, and other pay-related information, and post information onto designated records.
- Provide information to employees on payroll matters, tax issue etc.
- Perform tax clearance and yearly reporting to authority
- Submission of pro-family claims and any related authorities' salary claim e.g. NS reservist pay; childcare; paternity and maternity claims; FWL etc
- Work with HR team in employee related claims e.g. Work Injury and H&S Claim
- Perform monthly payroll reporting
- Process casual labour payroll
- Liaise with external auditor in payroll related enquiries
- Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in same capacity in hotel finance environment
- Detailed and meticulous
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess good communication
- Highly motivated individual
- Able to work under stress and in fast pace environment.
