**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the HOD in ensuring the department's business is optimally managed and targets/ objectives are achieved whilst meeting the bank's policy requirements.
- Manage and implement initiatives and programs to promote efficiencies leading to greater customer's satisfaction.
- To ensure the team provides value added products and services to existing/potential customers predominantly in the China market.
- To manage and lead the team of relationship managers in enhancing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing corporate customer base as well as building new customers relationships.
- To monitor and utilization of the credit lines of the borrowers.
- To monitor and conduct regular review of the existing customers,ensuring the credit documentation are properly managed and completed.
- To ensure the business activities of the department meet the bank's policy requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Possess a Degree in Banking, Economic or related studies, preferably with Masters.
- Minimum 15 years banking experience with at least 6 years in corporate banking.
- Experience working with corporates in particular China Corporates.
- Those with senior management experience or leadership role in managing a branch preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skill with proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese as incumbent is required to correspond with Chinese corporates as well as colleagues in Head Office and handle chinese documentation.
- Understanding of the relevant lawas, regulations and practices pertaining to Credit products and enusring its compliance.
- Ability to manage the team effectivel whilst engaging them to optimal performance and coach them to their potential development.
