Founded in 2018, Foragers has since been on an onward journey to introduce exceptional and one-of-a-kind hospitality concepts to Asia. One of our wonderful concepts is an Israeli street food-inspired restaurant called Miznon.
Miznon is located along Stanley Street. Helmed by one of the leading figures in the Israeli culinary scene and appeared as a judge on the highly acclaimed Israeli “MasterChef”, chef Eyal Shani, who imparts a sense of magic in every bite.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with Head Chef to plan and direct food preparation;
- Ensure consistent food standards in a fast-paced environment;
- Dealing with suppliers and ensuring food cost targets are achieved;
- Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items;
- Assist in development of food menu;
- Ensure kitchen is kept clean and exceeds food safety standards;
- Manage kitchen team including engaging in training, ensuring compliance with SOP, boosting staff morale, resolving conflicts, taking disciplinary actions etc;
- Manage and organise daily restaurant operations, including managing costs, manpower planning, inventory control etc
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of kitchen management experience
- Must be able to rotate day and night shifts
- Must have hunger for knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exhibit strong leadership skills
- Attention to detail with highly developed palette
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
