The scientist will work in ISCE2 (Jurong Island) for methane pyrolysis project from LCER. His/her responsibility will be mainly:
- Setup the reactors (fixed bed, membrane, or fluidized bed in lab scale);
- Optimize the reaction parameters & reactor configurations;
- Operate reactions of catalytic methane pyrolysis and catalyst regeneration;
- Kinetic analysis on methane pyrolysis and regeneration reactions;
- Reactor simulation and process modelling;
- Analyze the research results and write research papers.
**Job Requirements**:
- PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry
- With hands on experiences on reactor design and setup, reaction engineering analysis, and process simulations.
- Knowledge on catalyst design and characterization
- Good communication skills in both oral and writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
- Innovative, motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
