Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and capable individual to join our mission to accelerate the push for decarbonisation. This project focuses on the research and development of electro-chemical conversion of CO2 to chemicals.
- Regularly perform materials synthesis and characterization for the development of novel electrocatalysts.
- Sample preparation for electrocatalytic studies.
- Carry out electrochemical techniques to determine electrocatalyst performance.
- Perform product analysis and quantification using methods such as GC, HPLC and NMR.
- Analyze and summarize experimental data, communicate results orally and prepare reports.
- Assist with the writing of manuscripts for research publication in peer-reviewed journals & contribute to IP generation.
- Assist in procurement, account management and other necessary administrative duties.
- Trainings will be provided.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experiences in working in a laboratory environment.
- Basic knowledge of materials characterizations, e.g. SEM, TEM and XRD, and analytical chemistry, e.g. GC, HPLC and NMR.
- Basic electrochemistry knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Committed, motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Possesses grit to overcome challenges by learning from failures.
- Willing to learn new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
