**Position Overview**:
The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the ambulance department's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and coordination to achieve the company's operational and financial goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the ambulance department, including scheduling, deployment, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
- Monitor the performance of services to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage incident reports, investigate service failures, and implement corrective actions.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and mentor a team of Paramedics, Drivers, EMT and support staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance appraisals and address performance-related issues effectively.

**Strategic Planning and Optimization**:

- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost efficiency.
- Implement strategies to enhance service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance interdepartmental coordination.

**Financial Oversight**:

- Assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets.
- Monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization to meet financial targets.

**Customer and Stakeholder Management**:

- Maintain strong relationships with clients, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety in all operations.
- Conduct regular audits and drills to maintain compliance with safety protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5 years in an operations management role, preferably in healthcare, emergency services, or logistics.
- **Skills**:Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**:Knowledge of healthcare regulations, first aid, and CPR certifications is a plus.
