**Vice President**, Marine Cargo**

- Key person for larger clients or complex accounts, ensure service levels are met or exceeds expectations.
- Develops and implements strategic agenda and growth plan. Drives sales and placement initiatives.
- Takes accountability for strategic growth, develop and implement strategies to realize corporate opportunities.
- Conducts research, evaluation and document trends. Understands and evaluate customer perspectives, needs and requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Executes corporate development plans and strategies. Works with sales/industry/client executives to position the cargo product line firmly into strategic and client discussions/plans.
- Responsible for and convenes the internal pre-meetings before the renewal strategy meeting.
- Assists and oversight of cargo placement activities and support with strategic and market discussions when appropriate.
- Leads larger clients or complex accounts enquiries and address escalated issues to ensure best solutions are provided.
- Conducts needs analysis and develops broking plans in response to client needs and gains client’s approval, in conjunction with the client and/or relevant stakeholder. Negotiates and evaluates quotes from the carrier or the broking centre and presents a recommendation to client. Communicates the broking plan to clients, brokers and carriers, as appropriate.

**What you need to have**:

- At least 10 years’ experience in broking and/or reinsurance field.
- Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent. ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage.
- Relevant specialty experience in marine cargo is preferred.
