Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to be responsible for overseeing the relevant aspects of delivering building material to construction projects on schedule. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and clients, to coordinate and optimize the projects' smooth execution and claims.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications. Prepare and maintain accurate quantities for cost estimation and tendering purposes.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure the timely ordering of material to meet site expectations for timely delivery of material.

Accurately evaluate, produce, and follow up on progress claims and invoices based on delivered quantities.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, clients, and other relevant stakeholders. Foster positive relationships and ensure alignment on project objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field OR
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a coordination or management role for construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the construction industry.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,600.00 per month
