The Assistant Accountant will support the AP and AR functions of the agency, ensuring accurate reporting and payments. This role requires someone with an attention to detail and a commitment to social service.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation (AP, AR and GL)
- Perform accounts reconciliation to resolve discrepancies
- Manage and monitor cash flows statements
- Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and assist in budgeting exercises
- Participate in financial audit
- Review and implement financial policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations (e.g GST, Charity Accounting Standards, etc)
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on matters pertaining to audit, grants and financial reporting
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time
- Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
- 1 - 2 years of working experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
- Good time management and comfortable to work in fast-paced environment
- Experience in using an accounting system and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
