Singapore MUSLIMIN TRUST FUND ASSOCIATION Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and guidance in the residents' holistic development
- Work alongside the Home Operations team to ensure Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to in ensuring quality care and maintaining safety of the children during care placement
- Incorporate the principles of Standards of Care for Children and Young Persons in the daily management and supervision of the children
- Work alongside the Home Operations team to maintain and ensure compliance to licensing requirements
- Engage residents in holistic meaningful activities/programmes and act as a positive role model by providing proper guidance and supervision
- Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, personal development and well-being of the residents in the Homes
- Work with other Welfare Officers to promote structure, boundaries and routines within the Homes and support the resident in their day to day activities

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Higher/Nitec holder mínimally
- Relevant certificates and experience in handling children in institution or home for children would be an advantage
- Able to perform shift work, including overnight shifts
- Location of workplace would be at Darul Ihsan Boys' Orphanage (5 Mattar Road) or Darul Ihsan Girls' Orphanage (23 Wan Tho Avenue)
- Non-Smoker
- Possess a responsible and caring attitude
