Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation Full time

The Executive, Community Outreach, plays a key role by planning and executing outreach activities to corporates and community groups to create awareness, increase advocacy effort of early detection of breast cancer through organising of awareness talks, participating at outreach events via booth setups and involving in webinars/fireside chats, (where applicable) digital and social media platforms. This role also needs to integrate all fundraising campaigns, signature events, and communications initiatives online and offline (where advocacy messages can be promoted).

**Duties and responsibilities:
**1. **Community Outreach**
- Work proactively and independently on events and activities (Awareness Talks, Outreach Booth, Webinars & Fireside Chats) from conceptualisation to reconciliation against best-practice and standard operating procedures; including pre-event organisation, budget management, compliance approvals, liaising with event organisers and partners, determining topic & focus, sourcing for speakers, onsite execution, staff management, senior management liaison.
- Manage all venue logistics (including operating of technical equipment for virtual events) before, during and after the events, including setup, teardown, and staffing.

**2. **Others**
- Keep abreast of current and upcoming trends in educational materials (digital and print) and breast cancer statistics in Singapore and globally.
- Conduct breast cancer awareness talks to corporations and community groups, if necessary.
- Providing support to Head, A&C / General Manager for matters pertaining to Advocacy and Communication, Fundraising and Partnerships and Programmes and Services Advisory Committees.
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the organisation.
