Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Learning

NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) provides education within the University and the region. The Senior Assistant Manager is responsible for leading and executing the tasks required for developing the new Doctorate and Masters in Innovation Programme. The incumbent works closely with the Deputy Director of NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), Lead of Postgraduate team, and the University Taskforce to support the programme, including curriculum review, student recruitment and delivery of the Doctorate and Masters in Innovation Programme.
Key Responsibilities
Development of Doctorate and Masters in Innovation Programme
- Conduct searches, gather and organise information from relevant sources required for shaping the development of the Doctorate and Masters in Innovation Programme
- Prepare the necessary documentation and proposals for submission to NTU Senior Management Councils, BOT and MOE
Secretariat support to the Programme Taskforce
- Organise meetings, collate agendas, write minutes and prepare materials for discussions and decisions at the meeting
- Follow up on matters arising from previous meetings and solicit updates for reporting at upcoming meetings
Marketing, student recruitment, student management and administrative support for the Programme
- Organise and coordinate various marketing and promotional activities, including local and international information sessions and education fairs and exhibitions, in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Oversee administrative support required for smooth implementation of the Programme
Delivery and implementation of the programme
- Oversee and plan class and consultation schedules and timetable in an effective manner
- Work closely with the Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme team to facilitate placement
- Plan and oversee the operating budget to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations
Key Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Preferably with 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in university landscape. Experience in working with professors, government agencies and international organisations will be advantageous
- Familiarity in entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem
- Experience in budget planning, revenue projection, processing claims from grants
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, strong problem-solving skills, data analytical skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently, even under tight deadlines
- Meticulous and eye for details in organising information and tracking work progress
