**ASSISTANT COUNSEL**:
**Responsibilities**:
Legal and contract management:

- Develop and maintain standard contract templates to support the business operations of the company
- Review and negotiate contractual clauses
- Review and comment on financing documents and accordingly liaise with Lenders’ Counsel
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project financing covenants
- Provide legal opinions to senior management on the impact of key clauses in the contracts
- Keep abreast of the legal framework in Singapore, particularly legal developments that affect the energy industry in Singapore, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure the implementation of a robust contract management system
- Participate in settlement discussions during the dispute resolution process with vendors

Governance:

- Assist the Board in legal issues and advise on governance matters

External:

- Liaise with external law firms where necessary

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 experience of the jurisdictions of the Region and preferably in the energy sector
- Qualified in Singapore or other common law jurisdictions
- Be able to work independently while also being a strong team player.

**Others**:

- 5-day work week
