Company Overview: We are a privately owned company that has been providing legal financing to individuals and corporates since 2016.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Debt Recovery Manager with a legal background and field collection experience to join our team in Singapore. The Debt Recovery Manager (Legal/Field Collection) will be responsible for overseeing and managing the debt recovery process for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the debt recovery process for clients, including the identification of outstanding debt, negotiations with clients, and legal proceedings as necessary
- Ensure that all debt recovery efforts comply with relevant laws and regulations, including the Small Claims Tribunals Act and the Moneylenders Act
- Conduct field visits to clients as necessary to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve disputes
- Provide guidance and support to the debt recovery team, ensuring that all team members have the necessary resources and training to succeed
- Monitor the performance of the debt recovery team, regularly conducting performance evaluations and implementing improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all debt recovery activities and prepare regular reports for clients and management
- Represent the company in court and participate in legal proceedings as needed
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Debt Recovery Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, including field collection experience
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve results
- A degree in law and a thorough understanding of Singapore's legal system, including the Small Claims Tribunals Act and the Moneylenders Act
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and resolve disputes
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships with clients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including conducting field visits
