- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and infrastructure components using Golang.
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using Golang.
- Develop and Maintain Datadog Integrations, design, develop, and maintain integrations with various cloud providers, services, and technologies to collect metrics, traces, and logs for monitoring and observability purposes.
- Collaborate with product managers and customer success teams to understand customer requirements and prioritize integration efforts accordingly.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of Datadog's open-source projects, libraries, and SDKs to support monitoring and observability across different platforms and ecosystems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architect solutions that meet business objectives.
- Optimize performance and scalability of existing systems and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends relevant to monitoring and observability.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Golang.
- Proficiency in building backend services and APIs using Go
- Good hands-on experience in designing & maintaining datadog integrations.
- Proficiency in designing and developing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability concepts is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
