**Role/Responsibilities**:
This position will report to the Associate Managing Director responsible for Moody’s Financial Institution ratings in Singapore. The Analyst will be responsible for:
- Financial analysis and credit ratings of several high-profile financial institutions in India and ASEAN region
- Managing all aspects of the credit ratings process including meeting issuers, taking timely ratings actions and producing high quality and impactful research.
- Communicating views to internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in an analytical, research or risk management function of an established financial institution, publishing firm or international body
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Broad familiarity with ongoing developments in the Indian and ASEAN financial industry
- A solid track record in writing either for an internal or external audience
- Strong ability to articulate views orally both internally and externally including the media
- Proficiency in English is required
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
