**JOB DESCRIPTION**
You will be supporting the Pharmacy department in Administration or Informatics support.**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES**
I. Assist section-in-charge for monitoring and maintaining adequate staffing levels for Pharmacy to
- ensure targeted service levels are met. Liaise with roster master/mistress to ensure sufficient
- manpower for smooth flow of day to day routine work.
- 2, Coordinate training activities within the various sections or the department and proactive Iy conducts
- periodic reviews of the contents of operational and/or clinical training materials to better address
- department needs. Maintains proper documentation of training records.
- 3. Review and fine-tunes workflows pertaining to Outpatient Pharmacy (OP) and/or Accident and
- Emergency Pharmacy (A&E), In patient Pharmacy, Pharmacy Lab or IT-related matters to improve
- overall effectiveness of the section.
- 4, Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of department and hospital
- implementation of workflows and to update section-in-charge accordingly.
- 5. Work closely with other support departments (Medical Social Services. Business Office, Specialized
- Outpatient Clinics) in providing and improving services to patients.
- 6. Manage, oversee and improve processes in billing, finance and workload reporting, inventory
- management to relevant departments or sections.
- 7. Guide junior staff in their proposal and implementation of pilot schemes and reviews them periodically
- to improve pharmacy workflow within the sections,
- 8. Review performance and collates feedback, conduct appraisals and annual peer reviews, write
- reports and make recommendations for confirmation, promotion and training of junior staff on behalf
- of section in-charge.
- 9. Coordinate and ensure regular audits of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants under their charge to
- ensure that service standards are met.
- 10. Facilitate orientation and training of new staff assigned to the various sections,
- 11. Assist in providing quality customer service. Proposes service touchpoints and coordinates service
- recovery cases
- 12. Assist section in-charge to guide staff in carrying out day-to-day procedures.
- 13, Foster continuous improvements as our way of life by encouraging staff efforts at improving
- processes to achieve clinical quality and operational excellence
- I4. Assist section-in-charge in implementation and leading of activities organized by the hospital,
- including aC projects, community projects, staff welfare, recreational activities, etc
- I5. Other duties as directed by the supervisors.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor degree in the field of Business Administration/Informatics Technology or Bachelor of Science (Pharmaceutical Science) or an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Working experience in a healthcare setting would be an added advantage
