BW LPG is associated with BW Group, a leading global maritime company involved in shipping, floating infrastructure, deepwater oil & gas production, and new sustainable technologies. Founded in 1955 by Sir YK Pao, BW controls a fleet of over 450 vessels transporting oil, gas and dry commodities, with its 200 LNG and LPG ships constituting the largest gas fleet in the world. In the renewables space, the group has investments in solar, wind, batteries, biofuels and water treatment.

DESIGNATION : Communications Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on internal and external communications as well as events planning. You will be involved in social media content and visuals creation, press release drafting, investor communications, branding topics, websites updates, employee engagement activities, and exhibition/conference organization.

This role is based in our Singapore office and reports to the BW LPG Head of Corporate Communications. During this internship, you will learn how to operate in a multinational organization with a dynamic and fast-paced team culture, which will equip you with the necessary hard and soft skills to work in any communications team.

Job Responsibilities
- Draft press releases, reports and internal communication pieces
- Update corporate websites and internal employee platforms
- Support creation and design of communication collaterals (e.g. posters, videos, photo slideshows), including coordination with agencies and external vendors
- Create content and visuals/video for company LinkedIn channel
- Oversee corporate gifts and give away production, storage and distribution
- Support planning, organization and execution of exhibition and conferences
- Engage in CSR projects and support execution
- Collaborate on internal events and communications initiatives across affiliates
- Refresh corporate materials and presentations
- Any admin and/or ad-hoc tasks as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong writing and communication skills
- High level of initiative and follow-up mentality
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work across multiple projects/platforms
- Creative with a good eye for detail and design
- Knowledge in video creation (e.g. Canva)
- Comfortable with social media (LinkedIn)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Interest in SEO, Google Analytics
- Available for at least 4 months
