Income is the No. 1 Motor insurance provider in Singapore and the Consumer GI Operations department plays an instrumental role, by supporting our internal and external stakeholders in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims Processing.
**Reports to**:
This position reports to the Manager, Motor POS, Consumer GI Operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform underwriting review for motor renewal quotations.
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of renewal transactions.
- Communicate renewal terms and premium changes to policyholders or intermediaries, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assist supervisor to manage exception reports.
**Requirements**:
- University Degree/Diploma holder or professional qualification in insurance or related disciplines.
- Service oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with policyholders, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
- Sensible judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in motor underwriting will be preferred but not required.
- Successful applicant will be required to obtain relevant insurance qualification (BCP, PGI & ComGI)
