**Job Summary**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and validate genomic data analysis pipelines for the single cell omics and/or spatial omics workflow optimization and validation. Be competent in developing own or customizing existing software workflows to meet project requirements.
- Manage large data sets generate from single cell omics and/or spatial omics sequencing operation and monitor the data quality.
- Set QC criteria and filter thresholds for our target single cell assay development and validation
- Maintain and update the computing systems used for bioinformatics and provide trainings when required
**Desired Skills and Competencies**:

- PhD. in related Science background
- MSc. in related Science background with >2 years’ experience
- At least 2 years of experience in single cell and/spatial omics work (eg. scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq etc)
- Good understanding of bioinformatics for genome and diseases
- Working knowledge of workflow management system (eg. Nextflow/Cromwell) and AWS desirable but not essential
- Working knowledge in a Linux environment
- Good working knowledge of R and/or python
- Proficient with bioinformatics tools and database
- Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
