Our client is in the design and construction of Modules for the Hydrocarbons industry.
**About the role**:
- Responsible for reviewing of contracts prior to tender submission, complete the Company risk analysis report and highlight all area of risk.
- Ensuring compliance in accordance with constitutions/regulations, statutory and listing rules and code of corporate governance for Public Listed Company.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on legal and regulatory matters to the Management team
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements etc.
- Review and negotiate a wide range of project commercial contracts.
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities.
- Calculate and handle risks in business process and decision making.
- Execute procedures for protecting patents, trademarks, and industrial designs.
- Assist in litigious and potentially litigious matters.
- Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function.
- Review, standardization, maintaining templates of legal documents.
- Ensuring compliance in accordance to constitutions/regulations, statutory and listing rules and code of corporate governance for public listed company.
**About you**:
- Degree in Law or equivalent
- At least 5 to 8 years in the same role as inhouse Legal Counsel
- Prefer with experience in Marine/Oil & Gas industry
- Familiar with company law and corporate transactions
- Meticulous and good organisation skills
- IT savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
**Salary**: $9,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
