As a **Solutions Consultant, Tech Sales** you will join the **Connected Aviation Solutions** Marketing and Solution Consultancy Team supporting **Connectivity and Digital Solutions**. In this role, you will articulate product positioning and capabilities by connecting the customer's business and objectives with our product and service provisions **unlocking more value** for both the customer and CAS. The product portfolio will consist of various airline operational software, hardware and integrated solutions.
Join the team that will be helping our airline customers on their** digital transformation journey** through the enablement of a connected aircraft ecosystem. This position will provide the opportunity to expand your knowledge and **grow your career** in this evolving domain.
**What You Will Do**:
- You will work with customers to find areas of potential operational improvement, identify solutions, and provide customer feedback to Collins teams.
- You will collaborate with Collins account management team and product teams to ensure the capture of customer requirement and align the Collins technical solution with the business requirements.
- You will support technical interchange meetings, sales calls, and answer technical questions throughout the sales process to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.
- You will deliver product workshops, conduct product demonstrations and training for prospective customers.
- You will understand the competition in the market to position Collins’ value proposition.
- You will collaborate with Collins program teams to drive unmatched customer satisfaction and establish deep technical account relationships.
- You will assist marketing team with the development and deployment of sales tools, collateral, and training.
- You will be expected to travel up to 25%
**Qualifications You Must Have**:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 6 years prior relevant experience in contract management or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of experience in contract management or in absence of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience in contract management.
- Must have prior experience working in commercial aviation
**Qualifications We Prefer**:
- Ability to effectively showcase and demonstrate products in a customer facing scenario
- Familiarity with airline operations including technical operations, engineering, flight operations and dispatch.
- Prior experience working across various departments to achieve shared objectives.
- Prior experience developing training materials
